Ashish Batwara is head of Software Engineering, Streaming Data Platform at Dell Technologies. Streaming Data Platform is an analytic platform to ingest, store, and analyze both real-time and historical streaming data. Ashish has 22+ years of experience in architecting and designing software products with 12+ years of direct management experience in leading and growing geographically dispersed software engineering teams in the areas of cloud, storage, networking, and analytics. Prior to joining Dell, he bootstrapped software engineering teams at Fusion-io (now WD), Samsung, and AWS to a sizable number and delivered first generation of software products. He authored 15 patents (10 granted, 5 pending) and two proposals, which are now storage industry standard. Ashish obtained his MS in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, and MBA from San Jose State University. He is pursuing certification in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford business school.
